Whole Beef

Our price is $4.30/lb X hanging weight. That is the carcass with head, hide and intestines removed. An approximate weight for our beeves hanging weight is 450#. Sometimes more, sometimes less. 450# X $4.30 = $1935 to the farm. Processing that you are responsible to pay to the processor is about $550. His price is $.90/lb. X hanging weight and a $60 kill fee. Depending on your custom cut order and if you keep the organ meat and bones, (which we recommend because of the vitality imparted from these parts) the approximate take home meat is about 300# (depending on how you have it cut, what you keep, etc) and will need about 11-12 cubic feet of freezer space.


Half Beef

The same price applies. 150# take home meat and requires about 6-7 cubic feet of freezer space. The processor will do a custom cut order on half a beef as well.


Quarter Beef

The same price applies. about 75-80# of take home meat and requires about 3 cubic feet of freezer space. The processor will do a standard cut only on quarter beef. You still have the option to keep organs and bones.
